All our storage units are secure individual rooms and come in a range of scalable sizes. If you’re storing larger goods that you need access to on a regular basis, we also offer drive-up units that you can park right outside of, and many of our stores offer free 24 hour access.
Reserve your space
For a refundable £10 fee, reserve your storage unit online using our quote tool, or by contacting your local store directly.
Transport your things
We’re always happy to recommend local removal and van hire companies. Tell them you’re using Access Self Storage and they may offer you a discount. We also sell a range of great value packaging materials.
Sign your agreement
On moving in day, arrive at the store with your ID - complete your check in paperwork (or fill it in it online in advance) and sign your Storage Agreement.
Move your items in
Most of our stores have drive-in or covered bays, making it easy for you to load in, even from container trucks.
To help you keep your goods well organised and easily accessible, we offer a range of shelving and racking units of various sizes and heights.
And if you find you need more or less space on the day, we can change your unit size for you.
Store for as long as you need
Use our secure storage for as long as you need on a monthly rolling basis. All of our storage units are covered by 24 hour CCTV and intruder detection systems, giving you peace of mind about their safety.
Our store teams can accept deliveries for you and will hold them for you free of charge for 24 hours as well as overseeing any collections you arrange.
When you’re ready to move out, simply give us the agreed amount of notice (usually 7 days), before leaving your unit clean and empty.

Storing your business items with Access Self Storage is great value, with no hidden costs. Our monthly billing system fits with your accounts cycle, making it easy to manage payments.
£10 reservation fee
Before you sign your storage agreement, reserve your storage space online using our quote tool, or by contacting your local store directly. All we require is a £10 reservation fee to, which we deduct from your rental fee when you move in, or is fully refunded if you need to cancel up to 48 hours before you are due to move in.
Monthly storage costs
Storage prices are dependent on unit size and location. Use our quote tool to view prices for your needs.
You can pre-pay for your storage to get a discount, spread the cost with a monthly Direct Debit or make payments using your credit card, debit card or cheque. Payments are taken on the first of each month.
There is no deposit or admin fee to pay.

• Each storage unit requires a personal padlock. Padlocks can be purchased in store with prices ranging from £10-£14.
Insurance for your stored items
It’s a legal requirement when using any self storage service to ensure that your goods are insured.
Every insurer’s calculations differ, but at Access Self Storage we can arrange competitive, storage-specific cover – starting at the minimum level of £14 per month, covering items worth up to £2,000.
