We take our environmental responsibility very seriously at Access Self Storage.
We source sustainable, renewable resources from suppliers that each subscribe to a recognised certification scheme which is committed to the protection of the remaining rainforests.
Our cardboard boxes are made from recycled cardboard, and are also full recyclable themselves.
Where possible, our stores are constructed from existing buildings. If this isn’t possible, we re-use as much material as we can – for example, demolition material is crushed on site and reused in new foundations. We then require our contractors to properly sort construction waste prior to disposal.
Finally, we request that our customers comply with their duty of care to dispose of waste legally and recycle wherever possible, and we work with them to arrange responsibly disposal if required.

As one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing self storage companies – and the biggest in London – we're always on the lookout for well-located new sites to expand our service to new customers.
We're particularly interested in new-build storage centres or existing buildings that are suitable for conversion.
We respond quickly to all opportunities forwarded to us – with particular priority given to any sites within the M25, home counties and the M4 Corridor – and we pay suitable fees for successful introductions.
Our key criteria are:
- Sites from 0.8 acres to 10 acres
- Existing buildings of 20,000 square feet and above
- Freehold only
- Main road frontage and prominence
- Located in the UK
- Development sites
- Be in densely populated urban areas
