Hayes was historically in Middlesex, but is now in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It has a population of around 100,000. The town celebrates its diverse community through the annual carnival – and looking after the costumes that aren’t in use 364 days of the year in our Hayes storage units would be right up our alley. Literally up the street from our Hayes store is the now defunct Nestlé coffee factory. We no longer ‘wake up and smell the coffee’ but we won’t be sleeping on the job of looking after your property in storage here. We also know landowner SEGRO has plans for the 30 acre site, possibly including homes. Heinz, of course, is still a major employer, and has its UK headquarters here.
Do you own an old Beatles or Elvis vinyl album? If it has the words Hayes, Middlesex on the sleeve, it will have been pressed by HMV, later EMI, at The Old Vinyl Factory on Blyth Road. Is your own record collection taking up space, but you can’t bear to say goodbye? Why not store them here? You will have 24 hour access and we will keep them safe inside our gated perimeter. The EMI building has now been reborn as the Central Research Laboratory, an ‘incubator’ for high-tech businesses. Other regeneration initiatives such as the Trident House and Waterside Developments, as well as Crossrail, will all be good for business so if you are considering trading in the area, the team at Access Self Storage Hayes can help you find the perfect storage unit to help everything run smoothly.
