On top of our usual Easter egg collection Access Self Storage Bristol are completing an 120 mile static cycle on the 5th April for the fantastic local charity Gympanzees.
Alongside our usual Easter appeal, where we collect Easter eggs for fantastic charities up and down the United Kingdom, our store in Bristol are completing a static cycle of 120 miles. I hear you ask, why 120 miles? 120 miles is the distance from Access Self Storage Bristol to our Head Office in Mayfair, London.
To understand a little more why our Bristol team have chosen to work with Gympanzees, please keep reading.
Gympanzees was set up by Stephanie Wheen, a physiotherapist in Bristol who specialises in children and young people with disabilities. Gympanzees’ mission was to create a space for young people with disabilities to play, exercise and have a social facility that would have everything under one roof for our families. They have now built a facility which will provide endless possibilities for health, happiness and support and will create cherished family memories such as a 3-year-old laughing for the first time, a 6-year-old taking his first steps, siblings playing together, and parents making friendships with others who understand the disability world.
