Created by Access Self Storage, Self Storage Week is about more than storage units. It is about making space for growth, change and opportunity, whether that means supporting a small business, navigating a home move or helping students manage life transitions.

Across five days, Self Storage Week combines education, real stories, community events and charitable activity to show how self storage supports everyday life.

Across the week, a wide range of activity is taking place both online and at selected Access Self Storage locations.

A key feature of the week is a customer focused webinar exploring how self storage supports flexibility and growth for small businesses.

Featuring real customers, the session shares practical insight into how storage can adapt as businesses change, scale or reorganise.

During Self Storage Week, Access Self Storage is hosting in person events designed to support local businesses and encourage connection within communities.

This includes a dedicated business networking event bringing together local trades and small businesses, offering the opportunity to connect, share insight and explore how storage supports business growth.

Charity and community initiatives

Community support is at the heart of Self Storage Week. In 2026, Access Self Storage is proud to support Cancer Research UK through fundraising activity taking place on the 6th of March at our flagship store High Wycombe.

A staff led relay challenge will see teams come together to raise vital funds, alongside wider awareness and community engagement activity across the business.

We're raising money by running 100km collectively.

To celebrate Self Storage Week, an Instagram giveaway will be running for the whole of March, giving participants the chance to win storage and moving related prizes.
