Neasden, birthplace of Twiggy (or, rather, Lesley Hornby), is to the north-west of London, in the London Borough of Brent. Our store is just 3 miles east of Wembley Stadium – a 19-minute tube ride to Wembley Park from Dollis Hill underground station. Dollis Hill, just around the corner from us, was the location of the Post Office Research Centre which housed the Colossus computer, (used for codebreaking in World War II) and the Paddock, a cabinet war room bunker which was apparently rarely used. Do you have large items you seldom use but may need one day? Equipment for hobbies or sports? Our Neasden storage units can help de-clutter your home and our 24 hour access means you can get to your things whenever you wish.
The London Underground has its largest depot in Neasden, so is one of the major employers in the area. Another large employer is IKEA – the second store to be opened in the UK was right here in Neasden. Remember that self storage can also be the answer for items you don’t have space for yet – or perhaps haven’t had time to assemble?
What else do we have here? There’s the beautiful Hindu temple, the Shri Swaminaravan Mandir, which hosts fabulously colourful festivals for Divali and the Hindu New Year, open to everyone. Music lovers also enjoy the UKU festival at The Grange, an annual event showcasing unsigned music acts. All that, and Regent’s Park less than 5 miles away!
