The Access Self Storage Easter Egg Appeal- Hot Cross fun!

31 March 2015
At Access Self Storage, we believe it should be equally delicious for everyone. That’s why each year, we ask our loyal customers to donate to our annual charity Egg Hunt. Last year’s event was a roaring success. Over 800 eggs were donated to good causes nationwide, and this time, we fully intend to hit the 1000-egg mark.

Access employees have wasted no time in ensuring this year’s campaign is off to a cracking start (no pun intended!) and have already started collecting eggs. If we’re going to hit our target, however, we’ll need your help.

We know it’s tempting to keep your treats to yourself, but no man alone can eat fifty eggs (Paul Newman excluded). So we’re calling on people throughout the UK to give as many eggs as they can. This year’s beneficiaries represent a wide range of worthy causes, and we’re proud to support them all. We’re donating to Royal Surrey County Hospital, the Rainbow’s Hospice in Nottingham, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, Rowan’s Hospice in Southampton, NHS Kingston Hospital, Northamptonshire County Council Trust, The Salvation Army, and Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre in Coventry, to name a few.

Our store managers love getting involved in our charity events, however, it can get a little competitive. Of this year’s comp, Nick Hand of Access Self Storage Coventry said: “We are asking everyone to spread a little sweetness this Easter by giving eggs to Tiny Tim’s Children Centre.”

2014’s big store winner was Access Self Storage Northampton, which gathered almost 200 eggs – a staggering number, and nearly a quarter of the total collected.

“Last year the Northampton store was the most successful” Nick said, “and this year, we really hope the generous people of Coventry can smash that total.”
We love the friendly rivalry here at Access – the more eggs, the better!

With us, Easter isn’t just about indulging in chocolate treats. It’s also about giving goodies to others and helping some truly deserving charities along the way!

Get involved by donating to your local store by 30 March.
