Access Self Storage Manchester launches Christmas appeal to collect donations of new toys, games, and activities for children between the ages of 2 - 17 for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.

The 9th annual Access Self Storage Christmas Charity Appeal is now open, with local residents and businesses invited to drop off new toys, games and activities for children between the ages of 2 - 17 for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust at Access Self Storage Manchester until 12th of December.

The Children's adventure farm trust charity

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust provides various free programmes for terminally ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children from all over the Northwest. CAFT helps children of all abilities agreed 17 and younger. These are children who, through no fault of their own, miss out on the normalities of childhood. Each child that visits them is treated as an individual with their strengths, likes and dislikes. Disability is never seen as a barrier to participation, and they welcome children from all social and ethnic groups.

These donations can make a difference, especially at Christmas, so every donation, large or small, will be welcomed by Access Self Storage Manchester. We hope that this year, we will return to the same level of donations given by generous locals – each store averaged at least 80 contributions. In the previous eight years that the campaign has been running, more than 18,500 gifts have been collected by Access Self Storage teams for dozens of UK charities.

Helen Crowther, Trust Fundraiser at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Access Self Storage Manchester are supporting our Christmas programme again.  This year we are aiming to provide magical Christmas experiences for 3,000 children whose lives are impacted by illness, disability, or social disadvantage.  This toy appeal will provide a lasting memory of their special day, one they will treasure in the dark times that may lie ahead.”

Access Self Storage Manchester’s Store Manager, Emma Greenwood said: “We have a very close relationship with the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust and feel so proud of our community who continue to donate to this special charity year on year. We would love to collect a record number of toys this Christmas for the children under the trust’s care. If you can buy an extra present and drop it into the Manchester store, then we would be over the moon.  This appeal is all about supporting local families who need our help.”

All donations may be left at the reception of Access Self Storage Manchester where they will be stored safely until they are delivers to The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust after the 12th of December
