About the store manager

James has been the store manager at Access Self Storage Bristol for 14 years and says that he couldn’t do it without the team, because they “make coming to work each day a joy!”.

In his spare time, James enjoys walking and is a big Chelsea FC fan. His favourite things about Bristol are the eye-catching street art, including some original works by Banksy, and the city's fascinating history.

James also values the area’s broad selection of independent coffee shops and restaurants. He suggests checking out North Street, which is just up the street from the Access store, and stopping for a bite at The Lounge or The Spotted Crow.

The Clifton Suspension Bridge, spanning the picturesque Avon Gorge, is the symbol of the city of Bristol. The bridge, based on a design by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, joins Bristol and North Somerset and it has its own visitor centre in Leigh Woods. If you want a guide across the bridge, you’re in luck: free tours of the bridge take place at 3pm every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday between Easter and October. There's no need to book, either - simply meet a volunteer guide at the Clifton toll booth.
